Sensors and Trinkets Series

The Sensors and Trinket series is a set of modules designed for projects to sense or interact with the environment. The series’s modules are design to work with both the mCookie and Microduino (DIY) series. 

Most of the modules connect to the Connector Hub Module by a Connector Wire. (Note: Connector Hub Module is sometimes referred to as a Sensor Hub Module.)

Hubs

Sensors

Sensors are modules which are capable of detecting environmental conditions. These modules are able to “sense” conditions such as temperature, humidity, detecting a press (i.e. button), light levels, etc. Sensors are important as it gives projects the ability to detect the outside environment.

Trinkets

Trinkets are modules capable of modifying or interacting with the environment. Trinkets are important as it gives projects the ability to modify the outside environment.

An example is the Color LED which outputs different colors of light to the environment. Another example is the Buzzer which outputs sound to the environment.
