mPie

What is mPie?

Designed for children ages 7 and up, mPie is based on magnetic modules. mPie builds upon mPuzzle’s foundational circuity lessons and hardware components. The color-coded magnetic modules teach kids introductory hardware coding as well as more advanced electronic and product design concepts.

Using mPie, kids discover the world of hardware coding. The magnetic modules help them visualize the logical and sequential order of things in a physical and engaging way. mPie’s intermediate lessons enable children to link concepts between the physical and virtual worlds. Projects they construct include everyday items, such as a rocket, ambulance, and fly swatter. Common objects with which they are already familiar. mPie projects increase in complexity so children learn the importance of sequence in design and fabrication. They master how to identify and resolve problems when certain sequences are not followed.

How does mPie work?

Step 1: Snap together the magnetic modules.

Step 2: Connect the wires.

Step 3: Launch the fun!

Projects

mPie includes seven fun and interesting projects that teach children new concepts about how electronics work together in practical ways. Instruction cards are included, along with the magnetic modules, and are easy to follow so kids can immediately start building their creations. Having valuable educational play time is important and mPie provides the perfect product for students to do just that!
