202 Advanced Kit

Made My Old Lego Collection Smart Again!

This is by far the coolest thing I have ever reviewed! The mCookie kits are everything I wish I had, back when I was a kid. The fact that they are lego compatible and combine mechanical, electrical, and software engineering ideas into a user-friendly package make this a winning product all day long. That opens up a whole new world for project builders and tinkerers, both young and old.

302 Expert Kit

Challenging but Fun STEM project!

When I first opened the package I was a bit overwhelmed at first with the wires, motors, LED lights and various pieces. The windmill was the first structure I made. Having the windmill experience under my belt I went to finish the lighthouse. With each structure built the assembly and programming the parts became easier and easier to install. Before I knew it I had made each building in the set. I’d recommend this product to any parent or teacher who is interested in getting their kids or students interested in programming, circuitry, or just using their imagination to make something fun!

This was a great starting kit

I got this for my little nephew because he would see me playing with my Arduino projects I made and wanted to do the same so I got him this so he could tinker. This was perfect because this kit is very simple to put together and to customize. I love that this combines blocks and Arduino, there is Bluetooth modules, light sensor, motor, remote control, and much more. There are a bunch of models you can build with clear instruction for any age. I have been playing with him and teaching him how to do a certain thing with this kit and we are both have a lot of fun. Another plus is the packaging, it looks very clean.

Put the consoles away and enjoy building your own project!

This kit is great!!! I know nothing about modules etc., but my oldest son loves building as well as programming. This is a great way to get started in this area of technology, there is no soldering, parts are literally fool (no offense) proof. It comes with a remote and Bluetooth. You can make 7 different items with this kit but only one can be completed at the time. I purchased for him, being he can already scratch and enjoys working with modules. And he loves it. *****

Years after the edict by the US Federal Government to start putting STEM/STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) in to US Schools, there is still much searching by local and regional schools as to what will satisfy the mixture of goals set out by the Committee on STEM Education (CoSTEM).1 Schools were given the orders of STEM on where to go to, but not really how to get there. Microduino is preparing it education based…

Student test scores stall: One man’s plan for re-engaging kids through play

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA, USA – Recently released data by Pew Research Center indicate that U.S. students continue to rank around the middle of the pack, and behind many other advanced nations in math and science. The international math and science assessment measures math and science literacy and other key skills among 15-year-olds in 62 developed and developing countries. The U.S. placed an unimpressive 38th out of 71 countries in math, and 24th in science. Another test by the U.S. Department…
